At Promar, innovation is at the core of everything we do.
We don’t just knit our own fabrics—we constantly challenge ourselves to discover new yarns, experiment with novel blends, and bring meaningful, functional advancements to the table. For us, innovation isn’t just about staying ahead; it’s about creating solutions that matter.

This philosophy became especially vital during the pandemic. Faced with an urgent global need, we developed a silver-based spacer fabric designed to create masks that were not only breathable and comfortable but also long-lasting and reusable. Our goal was to go beyond the disposable—offering protection without compromising on sustainability or well-being.

We produced and donated these masks to hospitals in need, standing in solidarity with healthcare workers and vulnerable communities. The feedback we received was deeply moving. Hearing that asthma patients, in particular, found it easier to breathe while using our silver-coated spacer masks was a powerful reminder of the impact thoughtful textile innovation can have. It reaffirmed our belief that textiles can go beyond fashion—they can enhance lives.

This experience continues to shape our approach today: blending technology, empathy, and design to create products that serve both people and the planet.
